White Collar - The Continuing Adventures...
As last night's series finale drew to a close, I was in the WCWU chat room with some of the closest friends that I've made while taking part in this fandom. As we watched the final minutes, it hit me how amazing this whole ride has been so far and how much I hope that it's not over yet.

I'm so profoundly grateful to each and every one of you, whether I've met you in person, whether we've only exchanged fic comments or no comments at all. We've had our ups and downs, but overall, White Collar fandom has been calm, cool, and collected. It's been comprised of people who love a show and a set of characters that have inspired us beyond measure with our stories and art and discussion.

I intend to keep writing these characters, taking them on adventures and continuing the ones I've already started. While I've been very silent recently, I do not intend to keep that going in the new year. I'm still full of ideas and hurt/comfort tropes that must been written with Neal and Peter, Elizabeth, Sara, Mozzie, the Hughes family, Matt and Tim... All my favorite characters.

My hope is that you will all stick with me for some time - reading, writing, creating art. I want to thank you for everything you've contributed and everything you still have to add to the fandom collection.

I love you all! *many hugs and much champagne all around*

I'm so baffled about how Eastin could write such a lovely, open-ended finale and then say that.

At least Matt and Tim knew what show they were in. Thank God.

IKR? It's like he wrote this exciting, emotional, intricate story that still maintained the open-endeness of his original idea (but without the loss of agency that comes with a coin flip), and somehow thought it was the logical (and unambiguous) endgame of his bizarre 'born bad' concept. WTF?

And really, the reunion fic can start coming any time now. :-)

Seriously! Eastin never had any idea what he was writing, which often showed, but it did create a wonderful sandbox for us to play in, so I can't complain. LOL

Matt and Tim totally knew - LOVE THEM!
