Title: I've Got Plenty to Be Thankful For
Author: [personal profile] angelita26
Word Count: ~2900
Characters/Pairings: Neal, Peter, Reese Hughes, Original Characters (Cathy, Michael, and Emma Hughes)
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None
Summary: Neal Hughes/Redraw the Lines Verse. Neal's second Christmas with the Hughes family is supposed to be so much better than the first one. Then, he gets shot during an undercover op.

Notes: Written for [community profile] whitecollarhc Advent 2017. It's still Dec 21st in my time zone :D Many thanks to [personal profile] pooh_collector for her encouragement, and to everyone who gave me some ideas for where to go with this story. Title from the song of the same name from the classic movie Holiday Inn.

This is unbetaed because work and family commitments meant this was finished at the last minute. I hope you enjoy!

Neal knew as soon as he heard that gunshot that he was in trouble.

Fic Alphabet Challenge: Letter D: Drowning (Gen)
Alphabet Challenge: Letter D
Prompt: Drowning (WC: 608)
Fandom: White Collar
Timeline: Anytime Neal's on anklet and working with Peter
Pairing: Gen
Summary: Neal tried to stay out of the way, but that didn't stop a bullet for hitting him and causing him to fall into the river. He can't seem to find his way to the surface though.

Notes: I've been doing a little self-invented challenge on my Tumblr to write at least two drabble/ficlets a day using alphabetical prompts culled mostly from H/C Bingo on LJ and Gen Prompt Bingo on DW. Each day is brought to you by a different letter. I'm going to start cross-posting the WC ficlets :) Also, many, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] pooh_collector for inspiring this one and finding the West 79th Street Boat Basin for me.

Neal couldn't believe that this case was ending on a boat in the Hudson River. )

WC - Water's Wider
Title: Water's Wider
Author: angelita26
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Gen – Neal, Peter
Warnings: If you're squeamish about blood, there's some description of injury.
Word Count: ~1300
Summary: A routine investigation goes sideways. Neal and Peter are trapped in a bank vault, and Neal's gravely injured.

Notes: Inspired by the Chicago Fire episode, "Joyriding". Hopefully, it fills the "bullet wounds" square on my H/C Bingo Card. Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] pooh_collector for giving this a read-over and suggesting title ideas.

He woke to numbness and confusion. He was lying on a cold metal floor, though his head was on something soft. )

Author: angelita26
Rating: PG
Characters: Peter/Elizabeth/Neal
Spoilers: None.
Word Count: ~1500
Summary: Peter is injured off-duty, but that doesn't mean that he stops being a caretaker too.

Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13's birthday – I'm sorry it's so late! This is based on a prompt that she gave me a while back :) ETA: Added the below cover art made by the very talented [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 for my birthday. Thank you!! Peter never planned to get shot. In fact, he actively tried to avoid it whenever possible despite his high risk profession. )
