Art: H/C Bingo: Loss of Possessions
[livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 reminded me that fills for H/C Bingo can be things other than fic, so I got inspired to make this piece for the "Loss of Possessions" square. Click to enlarge.

The quote is from Mozzie during On Guard, but I think it's also very applicable to these images from Judgment Day. Neal is leaving everything behind: his friends, his gorgeous apartment, his vintage clothes, his hats! He fled for a good reason - no one should be forced to be Kramer's con-on-a-leash - but I was still very sad that he left everything, and everyone, behind.

WC - The Silent Language of Grief
Title: The Silent Language of Grief
Author: angelita26
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Gen – Neal, Peter, Elizabeth, Mozzie, Diana, Jones, June, Christie
Spoilers: Up to and including about half of Judgment Day.
Warning: Presumed Dead Canon Character. A metric ton of angst.
Word Count: ~4500
Summary: Neal jumps, Mozzie plots, Peter grieves.

Notes: Fills the "grief" square on my H/C Bingo Card. This story diverges from canon during the events of Judgment Day. You can blame/thank [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 for this – she sent me an amazing piece of art that I couldn't stop thinking about. The cover art is all hers (click it to enlarge). Also, much thanks to [livejournal.com profile] embroiderama for her help and excellent thoughts and suggestions and [livejournal.com profile] pooh_collector for her brainstorming genius.

ETA: Please check [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13's post with the original artwork that inspired this story. It's hauntingly beautiful.

Peter hadn't slept in three days. Every time he closed his eyes he saw the tram, saw the water, saw Neal fall. Every damn time. )

WC - Water's Wider
Title: Water's Wider
Author: angelita26
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Gen – Neal, Peter
Warnings: If you're squeamish about blood, there's some description of injury.
Word Count: ~1300
Summary: A routine investigation goes sideways. Neal and Peter are trapped in a bank vault, and Neal's gravely injured.

Notes: Inspired by the Chicago Fire episode, "Joyriding". Hopefully, it fills the "bullet wounds" square on my H/C Bingo Card. Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] pooh_collector for giving this a read-over and suggesting title ideas.

He woke to numbness and confusion. He was lying on a cold metal floor, though his head was on something soft. )

Random Thoughts and My 2014 H/C Bingo Card
You guys, I really don't want to be working today, so I'm procrastinating as hard as possible. (This has actually been my feeling all week, but today it is especially hard to get anything done.)

I'm still working on my Timestamp Meme fills, don't worry! If you've left me a prompt, I will be giving you a little something in return. I hope to complete them this weekend, and I'll post a Meme Roundup then.

In the meantime, I've acquired an H/C Bingo Card. I did it a couple of years ago when I was just starting out in the fandom, and I did manage to complete a bingo! So, I'm looking to do it again this year. ;)

If you have any prompts, feel free to leave them in the comments. I make no promises on prompts, but I appreciate any direction you want to steer me and the muse.
