For anyone who hasn't seen this show, get thee to TheWB.com and watch free of charge. As of 12:17pm EDT 3/13/13, it looks like the entire three seasons are available.
For those who have seen it and miss the snarky voiceovers dearly, we have exactly one chance to get the Veronica Mars movie made. WB has agreed to distribute it if Rob Thomas (creator of VM, not the singer) and Kristen Bell (the Veronica Mars) can raise $2 million. They've given themselves 30 days to do it, and you can help by visiting the Kickstarter page and check out the goodies you get by pledging certain amounts.
Also, there is a hilarious video on the Kickstarter page that includes Jason Dohring (Logan Echolls), Ryan Hansen (Dick Casablancas), and Enrico Colantoni (Keith Mars). It should not be missed!
As an aside, I find Kickstarter to be an excellent means for artists to get their work funded by giving back a little something to their benefactors. I've had friends do similar fundraising (can't remember if it was on Kickstarter or Indiegogo) and gotten good results.
Off to donate - hoping you do the same!
ETA: As of 7:26pm EDT, they've raised $1.7 million. I have no doubt they'll surpass the $2 million, and I CANNOT wait for the VM movie. YAYAYAYAY!!
ETA2: It's over the $2 million mark. Wheeeeeeeeeeeee! Veronica Mars MOVIE!!!!!!!
