WCWU Friday Night Chat - Signal Boost
Hello all!
There was a bit of a hiccup with the new chatroom last night. Remember, we've only been testing it a couple of days, so we're still seeing how it goes.
With that in mind, I wanted to signal boost again to give you the link to the chatroom and alternative.
Give it a try here. Just type in a nickname, click Start, and you'll be connected.
Alternative Web Chat is here. Type in the nickname you want to use and the CAPTCHA and click Connect.
If you have an IRC chat program, please feel free to join us from that using the irc.kiwiirc.com server and the chatroom #wcwu. I believe it also works with the freenode server, but I don't have that info handy.
Please join us! Hope to see you there!

Most IRC client programs should have a built-in list of servers; just choose any that ends in freenode.net. If your IRC software doesn't have a server list, use chat.freenode.net (from within the IRC program), which will connect you to a random server.
I've connected using the Freenode web link (the "alternative web chat" link above), as well as three IRC clients - Chatzilla (Firefox add-on), KVIrc, and mIRC. All of them worked fine! :)
