Story I was most surprised by it's reception: Out of Town – I wrote it to use as many of the Run the Con prompts as I could, and I was very surprised by all of the great comments and kudos I received on it. It featured some of my favorite friendships on the show, Neal and Peter, Neal and Diana, and Diana and Peter, and I'm so glad it was so well liked.

Story I am most proud of writing: The Bookstore AU. It started as such a simple prompt in embroiderama's WC RPS prompt meme, and it's turned into something very special. Realism is something that I strive for when writing, and I feel like this is the most real story I could possibly write. It's an AU, but there is such heart and life in the characters of Matt and Tim. Every story is an emotional adventure as they work to overcome past hurt and forge a life together. I'm so proud of the story and the comments that I've received for it.

Story I am least proud of writing: Toss up between Spent and Deliquium. While I like them, I do wish I'd spent more time on them so that there weren't loose ends. Fandom was in a lull, and I had them both mostly written, so I finished them up and got them posted, but they could have used some work, for sure.

Writing Resolution for 2014: To write more words than in 2013, for sure. And to finally finish and post the Neal Hughes story I keep talking about – it's mostly done but needs some TLC in the way of continuity.

Thank you to everyone who read, left a comment or a kudos on my fics this past year. Without you, I wouldn't be nearly as motivated to continue writing. I appreciate you all and the time you take to read/comment.

A very special thank you to the participants of the WCWU chats – you are all very dear to me, and I cannot tell you how much I love spending time with you. (Also, word wars – brilliant idea, simply brilliant!)

Many thanks to the writers of the WC fandom who entertained me, made me laugh and cry and everything in between. You are all amazing, talented, wonderful writers, and I cannot wait to see what you each have in store for 2014.

Thank you very much to the artists of WC fandom. Specifically [livejournal.com profile] aragarna and [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13, who surprised me with Bookstore AU art that I adore more than I can describe. [livejournal.com profile] aragarna also took on the very difficult task of creating a cover for my WC Big Bang story, which featured the characters as teenagers, and it is amazing.

Go you for more than doubling your word count from last year! Your Bookstore AU is a wonderful gift to fandom. ♥

To be fair, I only wrote for about half of 2012, but It's still more words than I probably strung together in my previous fandoms (over the course of years) combined.

Thank you for the prompt that started Bookstore AU because it has been a joy to write and share and to continue to work on. I have such plans for them! :D
