We're watching you... The Eagle Eye Premiere...

As evidenced below, my photographer skills suck and I got to attend the premiere of Eagle Eye last night!  For those who don't know, Eagle Eye is a thriller about two strangers (played by Shia Labouf in a very interesting divergence from his usual awkward slacker role [well, he was still a slacker, but not in the usual humorous way] and Michelle Monaghan) who get mysterious phone calls from an unknown woman who gives them orders and threatens them and their families to make them do what she wants.  It's very "'Big Brother' is watching you".  It was really cool, super creepy, and had some awesome action scenes - I enjoyed it thoroughly!  You should all go see it when it comes out - September 26th.  (That wasn't a shameless plug or anything...Promise ;))

It was at Mann Grauman's Chinese Theatre, which is a huge and well-known theatre in LA on the corner of Hollywood and Highland where the stars' handprints are and the walk of fame and everything is.  Lots of premieres and whatnot happen there.  It was a lot of fun to people watch - there were plenty of 'that person looks familiar, who do you think they are?' moments.

We also went to the after-party in West Hollywood, which was also tons of fun.  There was really good food - mini hamburgers!!  And any place where they hand a drink when you walk in is pretty damn spiffy in my book.  Plus we were on the list. - I was a +1, but whatever.  I've never been close to being on a list.  Ha! :)

I got to meet a lot of people that I've heard about or spoken to on the phone, but have never seen in real life, which was awesome.  I got to talk to a lot of writers, who were really nice and incredibly interesting to talk to for a bit - even if it was really loud and hard to hear what was being said.  Did I mention the mini-burgers?  Hee!

Anyway, it was a really fun night, and I wanted to share the experience. :-)
