Sara Ellis

First impression
What a bitch! Honestly, I didn't like Sara in the beginning. It didn't help that she was played by Hilarie Burton, who I hadn't loved during One Tree Hill.

Impression now
I adore Sara! I realized that she was the perfect person for Neal – strong, smart, and not afraid to call him on his bullshit. (Also, I re-watched some OTH, and decided I liked Peyton. LOL :D)

Favorite moment
In the Wind – When Neal and Sara check the distance of the card cloner and flirt while she's wearing his shirt and he's in his PJs. It's sexy and fun, but there's an undercurrent of sadness that she's leaving.

Idea for a story
Wouldn't it be fun if Neal were the lead guitarist and maybe vocalist in a band where Sara plays keyboard? They flirt, they sing duets, they eventually get drunk and fall into bed together. Mozzie is the long-suffering band manager who tries to kick her out of the band at every turn because she distracts Neal.

Unpopular opinion
She can be overconfident, and cold/cruel to other people at times.

Favorite relationship
Neal/Sara all the way!

Favorite headcanon
Neal and Sara meet up in Paris after the finale to make a go at their relationship.

Mozzie

Mozzie
First impression
What is he wearing? What a strange man. Why is Neal friends with this guy? I didn't really have a strong opinion one way or the other on Mozzie, but I thought it odd that he and Neal were friends.

Impression now
He's still a very strange man, but he was the most loyal friend Neal ever had, and I appreciate that in him.

Favorite moment
Mozzie creating the 'good night Cinderella' drug to help Neal recover his memories. I just love that scene – there's a lot of layers for both Neal and Mozzie, and it was great fun to watch.

Idea for a story
I should really write Mozzie's POV in Unbreakable. How much it hurts him to have Neal pull away and go to Diana for comfort, what he thinks about being Uncle Mozzie to Diana's daughter Charlie, does he find a new partner-in-crime at some point…

Unpopular opinion
I think Mozzie can be selfish, and I think he manipulates Neal into doing things Mozzie's way when he thinks he knows best or when he's afraid of the alternative.

Favorite relationship
I really like the friendship between Mozzie and June. There's an understanding and a respect there that is interesting to watch.

Favorite headcanon
Mozzie sleeps with Mozart when he can't sleep and needs a little comfort.

Diana!

Diana
First impression
I like her. She's smart, she shuts Neal down in hilarious ways. She's awesome.

Impression now
Same!

Favorite moment
I love it in the Pilot when she tells Neal to get his own coffee.

Idea for a story
Could I do a cross-over of my own AUs or is that weird? Because I think it would awesome if Diana from Unbreakable met the Hugheses from Redraw the Lines/Neal Hughes.

Unpopular opinion
I don't know how unpopular/popular this is, but Diana/Christie is one of my fave couples in the show, and I wish we had seen more of them in canon.

Favorite relationship
Diana/Christie, for sure.

Favorite headcanon
Diana and Jones go out for beers on Friday nights to gossip about the rest of the team.

Neal
First impression
He's hot! He's smart and funny, and I have to watch more right this second.

Impression now
Pretty much the same. He's still hot and smart and funny. He can be blinded by love, but he loves deeply. He feels most things deeply, actually.

Favorite moment
This is hard… I love that little speech and the wink in Free Fall before he jumps out the window of the judge's chambers.

Idea for a story
This is also hard… I still want to write the sequel to Holding On (By a Thin, Thin Thread) about Neal coming to terms with his blindness.

Unpopular opinion
Neal can be selfish, and he doesn't usually take consequences for himself or anyone else into account when he makes a decision.

Favorite relationship
I love Neal and Peter's friendship, and I love Neal/Sara together, and the Neal and June friendship is also very special.

Favorite headcanon
Neal took college courses while he was in prison and was only a few credits short of receiving a degree before he escaped and was eventually let out on the anklet.

Stiles (Yay! I was hoping you'd ask!)
First impression
He's crazy. Cute, but pretty crazy and flail-y.

Impression now
He's amazing. He's loyal, he's strong, he's persistent, he's caring, he's smart, he's vulnerable. Also, how has he not been committed to Eichen House or a better, less scary institution?

Favorite moment
The beginning of Riddled, when Stiles is on the phone, sounding absolutely terrified and helpless, and then the stuff with the nogitsune in that episode. Also, the scene at the beginning of De-Void where Argent pulls a gun on him and he alternately tells Argent to shoot him and pleads with his father to save him. Really, the entirety of 3B, if we're being honest, and the end of Motel California, and that scene in the rain with Scott and "Some of us are human!".

Idea for a story
So, I have this idea where Derek's a little younger (but still a couple of years older than Scott and Stiles), and he, Scott and Stiles were good friends. Scott and Stiles stayed with the Hales when their parents worked late, and they were at the Hale house on the night of the fire. Stiles was able to get Derek and Laura out but not the rest of the family (Scott was having an asthma attack). The four of them are traumatized by the fire. The Sheriff gets custody of Derek and Laura and they move into the Stilinski house. The Sheriff and Melissa have been dating for nearly a year, and she and Scott also move in so the kids can be together, and the parents also take alternate shifts and keep an eye on them. I have no idea where this is going…

Unpopular opinion
Stiles doesn't really give a shit about anyone outside of his family/friends. He'll throw someone else under the bus to save someone he loves.

Favorite relationship
In fic, Sterek is pretty damn awesome. In the show, there's nothing better than the Stilinski family feels. Stiles and the Sheriff have such a great relationship!

Favorite headcanon
Stiles takes flowers to his mother's grave every year, and he now leaves flowers at Allison's grave too. (I spoiler-ed it in case anyone else decides to watch the show from the beginning - lol)

Satchmo!

(I sense that this was a trap... ;))

Satchmo
First impression
Cute dog!

Impression now
Same!

Favorite moment
I love that scene from Shoot the Moon where Neal and Mozzie go to the Burke's to feed him and he barely raises his head when they come in. He's just that used to them.

Idea for a story
I have a bit of a story written where Neal is de-aged, and he brings out the puppy in Satchmo. They play together and sleep together and are the best of buddies.

Unpopular opinion
Ummm… I plead the fifth.

Favorite relationship
Satchmo and the Burkes are super cute together. I love when they take him for walks together.

Favorite headcanon
Satchmo has to get snuggles from Peter and El before bed every night or he wakes them at 4am to bark at whatever moves outside the window.

Peter!

[identity profile] angelita26.livejournal.com on October 29th, 2016 03:20 am (UTC)
Peter
First impression
Smart, competent FBI guy. This should be fun!

Impression now
Peter was a very cool character – I enjoyed how much he struggled with his morality in dealing with Neal and how he learned that the world had way more gray area than he ever thought possible. And I loved how strong his relationship with Elizabeth was. They were a fantastic couple.

Favorite moment
There are a few, but the first that popped into my mind was the look on his face during In the Wind, when he walks into Neal's apartment to find Sara there with the other guys and Neal says "I can't believe that three grown men don't know what's going on here." He just looks so proud of Neal and Neal's relationship with Sara!

Idea for a story
I would love to meet Peter's parents in fic. He didn't say much about them on the show, which leaves a lot of room for interpretation, but I think it would be interesting to see that dynamic explored a bit.

Unpopular opinion
My view of Peter is kind of skewed by my age – he's quite a bit older than me, which is one of the reasons I gravitated toward Neal, and also that's one of the reasons that I found him kind of boring at times.

Favorite relationship
Peter and El all the way. They had the best married relationship.

Favorite headcanon
Peter's only had two girlfriends in his life: El and Jill from Quantico.

Dean Winchester, please!

Dean Winchester
First impression
So…. this is Alec 2.0. Nice! I'm so there! (I was a big Dark Angel fan back in the day)

Impression now
Wow… he's gotten older and hotter – how is that possible?

Favorite moment
In What Is and What Should Never Be, Mary cups his cheek, and he leans into it with this look of longing like he wants for it to be real so badly but he can't really believe that it is. It absolutely breaks my heart, but it's such an honest, real moment.

Idea for a story
Oh, wow… I didn't write much SPN fic, but I would write a post-death fic where Dean reflects on his life and all the people he saved and comes to peace with everything. I don't even know if that's possible, but I would like for him to see the good that he did in the world, no matter how effed up it was.

Unpopular opinion
Dean's a womanizer. I haven't watched the show in many years, but it was bad in the beginning.

Favorite relationship
My favorite relationship doesn't involve Dean, LOL (it was Sam/Sarah), but I do love the sibling relationship with Sam. I was also a fan of Dean and Andrea from Dead in the Water. I'm old-school on the SPN relationships :)

Favorite headcanon
Dean used to check up on Sam at college whenever he could. He stuck to the shadows and was pleased to see Sam happy with his college friends, but he was sad that Sam was so far out of his reach too.

great answers, and I'm in your corner with pretty much everything. I'm in Season 7 right now, and they've toned down Dean's womanizing ways over the years (probably since Jensen got married;) ) Sure, he's still one hell of a flirt, and he does get the lady in some cases, but overall, he's grown-up in some ways - he's gotten more serious, but also more tired, fed-up at how the world around them works these days, how it treats them and their sacrifices. But on the other hand, he can't live the "normal" life, he needs the hunting, even if he asks himself at times if it's still worth the efforts.

I was the other way around with Dark Angel (watched it first for Michael Weatherly) - re-discovered it thanks to Jensen's work in SPN.
